I’m indulging my candle fetish, with a massive thanks to sextoys.co.uk, as they have kindly sent me a new product to review.
The CG After Dark Pheromone Soy Massage Candle is different to other massage candles that have 
come across my path, as it’s more of a musky scent, than a sweet foodie scent. That isn’t a bad thing, I can assure you!
It is described as “combining the dangerous intentions of black orchid intertwined with dark violet to bewitch while muted amber and earthy musk complete this fragrant symphony of mysterious seduction! Once melted indulge your fantasies with the decadent warm oil for erotic body touch and massage“.
It is a product from the After Dark range, produced by a US based company Called Crazy Girl and taps into it’s innovative flavours, whilst bringing a romantic vibe to couples.
The CG After Dark Pheromone Soy Massage Candle contains the ingredients; Coconut oil, Soybean oil, Apricot kernal oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Aloe, Vit E, Shea Butter, Jojoba Seed Oil and perfume. It is also Paraben free and a product that is not tested on animals.
All the ingredients that make up this luscious candle, can be found on the packaging box, along with safety instructions, how to use the candle and suggested usage.
This Soy massage candle is stated to be that of a Black Orchid fragrance, which is the number 37 in the After Dark range.
I really like this candle, although I am not a fan of floral aromas, this candle doesn’t over-do the senses. It has a subtle smell of orchid but it smells more fruit-like, when the wick is lit. As it is made from soy wax, it’s melting degree is low, so this enables couples to pour the heated wax over each-other, at their desired rate.
Keep in mind that the lower you drip the wax onto the body, the warmer the sensation will be but it isn’t too hot to handle! Definitely a candle to use if you want to step into wax play but not too sure about using a paraffin candle.
The wax left my skin feeling revived and refreshed and didn’t leave a horrid oily residue.
Sextoys.co.uk currently have this After Dark candle, available with an RRP of £14.45 GBP, which I personally feel is a brilliant price, especially for the size of the tin it comes in.
Don’t worry about the postman peeking into your delivery, as Sextoys.co.uk hold customer discretion, high.
